hey are we still alive? lol gabriella just joined us on here...

Tuesday, January 17, 2006

hey, did anyone watch "Stupid in America"? wow that was horrible... i didn't know things were that bad... yikes. i can't get over what she said about competition not being for humans. i thought that was ridiculous! competition is necessary to push people to do their best. without competition, people would get lazy and nothing would be working as well as it could. and i can't believe what it takes to fire a teacher, even a dangerous one! arent you guys glad we're homeschooled?!

i figured out how to customize links on my blog! yay!! well, i'm sure that not everyone feels the same amount of enthusiasm about this but...just wanted to share.

Sunday, July 31, 2005

Hey,

I found this really neat link to...cursors!!

http://cursorcafe.com

Saturday, July 30, 2005

thanks aisa!! ...oh that's a thing my mom does too, about the being posessed, and my grandma. LOL. it's a family thing. i don't have time to try the pic thing right now, but i'll try soon. thanks again!

Thursday, July 28, 2005

Ok, Devin, in answer to your questions: 1. To post pics, when you are creating a post, do you see the little button that looks like a picture? Click on that to upload a picture from your computer. Or, if the picture you want to post is on the internet already, you can either put a link to it or you can do an image source. To put a link, see the button that looks like a totally green globe?(again, on the 'create post' screen) click on that to put in a hyperlink. To image source, weeeellll...long explaination. Here goes...LOL... On 'create post' there are two tabs. One says 'compose' and the other says 'edit html', when you click on 'create post' it automatically goes to 'compose'. So, to do an image source, you have to click on 'edit html', then, put in
["]img src="http://www.blogger.com/_____________-" /["]
(and where the " are on either end, you have to put <> on either side, I had to put quotation marks or it won't show up as a text, it will show the picture, the way it shows below, and I put the quotation marks in brackets so that you know which ones I'm talking about) and where the blank is, put the link to the picture. So, for example, if you put in
["]img src="http://www.pbase.com/image/43549554.jpg" /["]
it will show up like this:

ok? Now, your second question: it says on your profile on paperdollheaven.com that you are 5' 6".
And in your third post, yea okkkkkk ROTFLWTIME you really wouldn't just forget about that would you...mm you must be obsessed...jk jk jk...

i remembered!!

ais,

it's chad michael murray in cinderella story!!

Sunday, July 24, 2005

???

aisa, where in my profile does it say i am 5'6"?! ( i know "?!" is improper, buttttt....)

Pics

i have a question. does anyone know how to post pics? thanks!

LOL dad said we were just going for the hot dogs...

srry devin! yeah i know i havent been on here since june 5th srry! ive been sorta busy with karate and everything. lol as u can c ive been posting regularly enough on the tang soo blog and my own... 8 people on the tang soo blog now! and still growin! i know what u guys mean. hey devin lol ive moved 7 times! and jill..trees yeah. i used 2 lie in the pine needles at recess when i was @ public school. i love the way it smells, dont u? hey it is hard 2 move, but when uve moved as often as i have, u soon learn how 2 not get 2 close 2 the house. 4 me, its more the people on the street that ive found it hard 2 tear myself away from. for example; we used to live right across the street from my grandparents! and now we live in a neighborhood with about 40 kids(no exaggerations, honest) and so thats great. although 2 b honest i do most of my hanging @ tang soo, especially now that the choir is on summer break, i havent been hangin @ the church lately. and i spend more time bloggin here in the study than playin outside with the neighborhood kids. partly becuz the four of us(me and my siblings) go out 2 play early in the mornin so the kids r @ school and we r the only ones outside u know? so we hang out, playin around as bros and sisters should, practicing our forms and bong forms, and just fooling around in general lol. so by the time the public schoolers get home we r either busy(karate and everything) or im just not in the mood 2 play and so if any1 is playin outside, its the boys. and maybe yena, but im just not in the mood 4 it, u know? lol this is getting 2 long. ttyl yall. bye

smiling now!

thanks guys!! you're great! oh, jill, i agree with you on all you said eccept on one point: people are MUCH, MUCH more cranky in scranton!! believe me. well, we were only in our dalton house for around 2 years, but i miss it just as much!!! i wont always be this depressing. LOL! i'm really ok. i just sometimes come across much stronger when i write!

Thursday, June 16, 2005

sigh...

I was just looking at a disk of pics my grandmother brought with her from Penna. One of the pics was of my old house in Dalton, Penna. I haven't seen it (the house) or a picture of it since August of 2003. That was our suposed "dream" house. The house with a 4-acre back yard, a creek in back, a old milk house that we transformed into a playhouse, our family-friends (the Rogans) living up the street, a family with a pony living down the street (i was able to take care of her), in my closet in my room a door into the attic....well, you get my point. It was a heartbreaker to leave. I remember the night before our friends and family were coming to help us move, my mom and i went to the grocery store to get some food. and when we got back, my dad had taken apart my bed without my knowing. So that was a shock to say the least. Oh, and did i fail to mention that we weren't moving to Ariz., oh no, we were moving to Lewisburg, Penna (home of Bucknell Univ.). Moving into half of a frat house, the other half being accupied by 4 college age guys (who we never met, i will add). AND the people who we sold the house to i wasn't very happy with. I mean, the mom was ok, but the dad i had some problems with.
i don't know why i am suddenly having this extreme flashback period, i haven't had one in a while, and (if i am boring you) don't feel obliged to read this any further. It's just wierd how one house can mean so much to you. i love our house here in Ariz., but i despair over the yards! They have absolutly no individuality at all! no matter what we do to our yard it's always going to have this factory feel, like it was something cut out. maybe if we were in a older house, with mature trees and all, it might be different.....
also on sunday i leaned too hard on the arm of one of our chairs and it broke. actually it had already been broken...the day we moved from our Dalton house. I knocked over a book shelf and it broke the arm of the chair.....alright, i think i'm done...

d-back's game & IM

sorry i had to leave IM so abrubtly, aisa. mom came in and said i had to get off the comp RIGHT THAT SECOND...actually, i had been on a little bit longer than i should have been. ANYWAY, we had to go to a D-backs game at 4:00 and tomorrow is John Paul's baptism, so we had to get everything ready by 4. i made the cake (white, with lemon filling and icing)....and i'll make some more stuff tomorrow. the shetlers, hansens and espericueta families are coming. also, fr. pinti, and a lady from dad's work. mr. espericueta and augustine can't come though, (mr. espericueta is in scarnton, pa, yes aisa, scranton!! and augustine is on some boy scouts thing.......
it was great seeing you on friday, jill! i wish we lived closer together....
ok my parents are starting to say that usually turning off the comp doesn't include typing so i'd better go.

Thursday, June 09, 2005

thank you jill

thanks for coming to the teen night tomorrow jill. have you seen national treasure yet?

Wednesday, June 08, 2005

hey, i just wanted to say that i deleted my personal blog. why? my computer is kinda messed up by it, and posting on the homeschooling blog is just as fun. maybe i'll make another personal blog later.

Sunday, June 05, 2005

Jill, I really wish I could meet you! Shame that I live all the way up here. And you all the way down there...bother. LOL wouldn't it be fun if we had a blogger meeting? We'd have to meet halfway...oh I wish. Devin, girl, you'd better come up here next year! LOL Devin, yeah yeah, whatever. Didja check your email? ROTFLWTIME...(not gonna use the rest) Devin...why don't you check the tag board...(When are you gonna put one on yours?)
...ais, you know erin is in italy, right? cause that's why she hasn't joined the blog yet. jill, if you want you can invite other homeschoolers you know to join the blog. as aisa said, this blog needs to grow! i invited jessica, but she is still in the midst of the moving whirlwind and i haven't heard from her in a while.
LOL Devin! I've only been blogging since April! Welcome to Jill and thank you for joining! LOL yeah, I put this thing together, and lemme tell ya, we desperately need it to grow! When you post, just make sure that you've got the right date and time on your post. Did you really post at 12: 34 PM? Just making sure:-) Explore your dashboard, Devin will help you with everything, I'm sure. Check out your profile and hey! maybe you'd like a personal blog like me and Devin. Enjoy!

Saturday, June 04, 2005

lol, jill! i didn't know you are so funny! i'm new at this blogging thing so you aren't alone. aisa is the veteran.

Wednesday, June 01, 2005

i just got off the phone with a great homeschooling girl i know (aisa knows her very well *hint hint*)...actually we talked then we im'd. anyway. oops, i g2g. bye!

Tuesday, May 31, 2005

aisa, when i was looking at this blog's settings i accidentally made myself not be a administrator anymore. will you make me a administrator again??? thanks...

Monday, May 30, 2005

i think i'll let you stay. :) you are a smart one, ais!! the boys are playing baseball outside, if i had to guess, aiden is the diamondbacks and ian is the red sox. i just got out of the pool. the pool is at my favorite temperature right now. if it gets too warm, i don't see the use of "cooling" off in a 90+ degree pool. of course i've been in the pacific ocean, in september, in oregan, so i'm not one to talk. boy, that was WAY off topic! LOL. tomorrow i'm going to go to the chiropractor with my dad, for my back...uhg. i tweaked it on saturday and it was ok on sunday, but when i woke up today i couldn't feel it at all...and i was really excited bucase i have karate tomorrow and i don't want to miss class...then i tweaked it again when i was helping aiden move something. the washington nationals won against the atlana braves today. 3-2 i think. now aiden, mom and grandma are watching a phx suns game (suns vs. spurs)...ok i wont bore you with anymore of my sports talk. LOL. i would have never guessed i would someday talk sports...BTW aisa, yes you are making me miss PA, but AZ is my home now...really the only stuff i miss from PA is my family, my friends, and our Dalton home....but other than that, i would rather forget...if you know what i mean. when you find out mrs. deak's baby's name tell me. i didn't even now she was pregnant! how did i miss that? oh, and aisa, i don't think you'd be in a huge hurry to move away from PA either, if you catch my drift...
Well, we're off school today, and right now, mom and dad and Migi are at the grocery store...Paco is still asleep, and Yena is behind me on the couch waiting for mom. And I'm bloggin, of course:-) It isn't even 9 AM yet and I have no idea why the heck I'm awake on a Monday that we don't have school on. Whatever:-) I guess the kids are off from public school as well. I haven't been able to post on my bookshelf blog in a long time, and I set up my 19th century blog, but I haven't started posting on that yet. Isn't it so convenient, being a homeschooler, and being able to turn a fun activity like a blog into a school project. I miss public school, but I wouldn't go back, unless, of course, we move back to Cinci, but then I wouldn't be eligible for this blog anymore, would I? LOL of course, I could make an exception for myself, after all, I created this blog didn't I? Devin, what do you think? (LOL please let me stay...please let me stay...) I dunno what we're doing later, going to find a parade to watch, I think. Tang Soo is closed as well, so that means a really big class tomorrow... I wish I had homeschooling friends at Tang Soo. Anyway, the Rogans came over for the party after my Confirmation. That was Monday last week. LOL I've been a full member of the church for one week! (I don't mean that it's funny, it just makes me smile to think of it, that's all.) The Deaks couldn't come; Mrs. Deak had a girl at a little after 2 that morning, although I didn't know about it until Mrs. Rogan told me when I got back from the Mass(mom was already at home with my grandparents, and I rode back with the Pinedas, so the Rogans beat me to my own party:-), and I still don't know the baby's name, because I don't think mom's had a chance to talk to Ellen yet. (Devin, am I making you homesick? We miss you! But, then again, I'm sure you'd rather stay where you are...ROTFLWTIME:-)

Sunday, May 29, 2005

hello, sorry i haven't posted here in a while. i'll try to invite some more people soon. the last shhe teen activity is in a couple weeks. i'm hosting it. there hasn't been a teen night since february. i think i pulled something in my back, so i can't bend forward at the waist. yuck. i never new how much you bend at your waist....

Wednesday, May 25, 2005

Well, the Rogans came but the Deaks weren't able to because Mrs. Deak had a girl that morning. Idk what they named her yet.

Sunday, May 22, 2005

Welcome Megan!
I think the Deaks and the Rogans are coming over tomorrow. Because of my Confirmation.
hey, ais--

i invited my friend who is moving to cinci. she'll be on soon.

Friday, May 20, 2005

i'm on, aisa! i can't write anymore right now cuz i'm holding john paul, but i'll write more later. --Devin

Wednesday, May 11, 2005

The Deaks and the Alexanders came over. Yena was entertaining us(me, Erin, and Ava) in my room earlier. Lets see...she was a tiger, a lion, a crocodile, a kangaroo, a cat, and I can't remember now... We had some rather unusual weather today. It only rained on half the driveway. Weird. Mom made Bibinka again. It was sooooooooo good seeing Erin and Ava again! I haven't seen them since the going away party for the McIntyres. Well, obviously, I haven't seen Devin since then, either. I think she was supposed to come up here in July, but now, with the baby... I think she'll be coming next year. Shame she can't come to compete in the tournament next week(!), but besides the baby, she's got her own tournament on the 21st...
